YOUR FIRST VISIT

Babies+2.jpg

At Berean, our kids (infant - 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

Here's what to expect when visiting Children’s Church for the first time:

First, find the desk marked Children’s Church, it will be at a desk to your right as you walk in the front doors. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room. You can always sit in with a kid in their classes, just let us know!

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • Parent/guardian name(s)

  • Child's name

  • Child's birth date

  • Home address

  • Phone number

  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

Child Care

A nursery is available for babies and toddlers up to age 3. The nursery is located down the hallway to your right as you enter the building. It’s the first door on the left. Our nursery volunteers will ask you a few questions about your child(ren) and let you know about the drop-off and pick-up safety procedures.

Children’s Church

At Children’s Church your kids will be presented with the gospel through story, crafts, and games! Our volunteers are trained and safety is always their number one priority. Your child will have fun and come away with a greater knowledge of Jesus, a God who loves them. Children in Pre-K through 2nd Grade are dismissed prior to the sermon (approximately 10:50 AM) for Children’s Church. Feel free to keep your child in church with you if you desire. If you would like to take your child to Children’s Church, please exit the auditorium and give one of the children’s workers your information as the children line up in the fellowship hall.
